All late breaking news and information concerning Tritech software and the Year 2000 will appear on this page.
| 25th February 2000 | Re-instating suspend agreements so that they restart in February 2000 will cause an error. Clients should not re-instate agreements in such a way until a program update has been received from Tritech. |
| 12th January 2000 | If a payment is posted to an agreement in the year 2000 then followed by a payment in the year 1999 there is a chance that the month of the second (year 1999) payment may be shown incorrectly. All clients are currently being updated with a fix to this problem. If you have not yet received an update please contact the Hotline. |
| 6th January 2000 | If the insert NRD (Next Rental Date) is included in the descriptive text of VAT Invoices or Customer Statements the year will be printed incorrectly as 100. All clients using this functionality should request an update from Tritech immediately. |
| 4th January 2000 | A problem has been reported in TCMS (Tritech Contact Management System) whereby the day of the week is displayed incorrectly in notes and diary entries. This is a DISPLAY ONLY issue and updates have been sent to all clients using TCMS. |
| 23rd December 1999 | When processing Direct Debit payments across the year end please ensure that payments up to including the 31st December 1999 are processed separately to payments from 1st January 2000. This will ensure that all Direct Debit payments appear in the correct order in an agreement's payment history. |
| 25th November 1999 | A problem has been reported with TRIPP when entering the fields Asset Year Purchased and Asset Year Leased with a year in the next century up to 2009. The years are displayed as single digits e.g. 0 instead of 00. This is a DISPLAY ONLY issue and will not impact on the operation of TRIPP. The problem will be corrected and updates sent out with the next general release in the new year. If you would prefer an immediate fix please contact the support desk who can arrange for an update to be forwarded immediately. |
| 14th December 1998 | All Tritech's software passed as Year 2000 compliant. All clients will be upgraded to the latest version of the software over the first few months on 1999. |
