TRIPP for Windows Latest News

TRIPP for Windows development has continued with both the release of entirely new programs, the inclusion of extra functionality into existing programs and the addition of new features that the TRIPP for Windows platform enables.

The major new release is the Commission's and Supplier's (Purchase) Ledger. This provides the interface for the loading of received purchase invoices and credit notes as well as displaying any automatically created invoices generated for both supplier purchases and broker commissions when agreements become live. Payments are made using remittance advices with the assumption of either a cheque or direct credit payment. Payments can be selected manually or all due invoices paid automatically (with the exception of disputed and unauthorised invoices) including a direct link to BACS to make direct credit payments. Optional remittance advices can be generated to a user-defined format and may be created as PDF documents. An aged debt report is available as is enquiries on any individual supplier or broker.

Other new releases include:

  • Document Despatch for the printing of system generated letters. The letter formats emulate those generated from TRIPP Classic.

  • A T-Chart generator giving a graphical representation of the automatic nominal postings created by TRIPP with options to restrict to specific business types and posting sets.

  • Standard Journal File Maintenance for the creation and maintenance of repeating nominal postings within the Nominal Ledger facility.

  • Nominal Ledger File Maintenance for the loading and amendment on nominal ledger accounts within the Nominal Ledger facility.

  • Agreement deletion for the removal of new proposal agreements or terminated agreements from the TRIPP database within the Terminate Agreements facility.

  • Future dated and CCA partial settlement quotations within the Complete Agreement Details Enquiry facility.

  • CCA Income Statements (to meet the Consumer Credit Directive 2011) in the Statements facility.

  • Support for CAIS Plus 2007 file format within the Credit Agency Reporting facility.

One of the new features taking advantage of the new platform is the ability to locate the Electronic Journal that created a nominal posting. From within a trial balance display a simple mouse click will bring up the associated Electronic Journal allowing instant access to additional information about why and when the posting was created or input.
