Tritech Software Windows 7 Compatible

Compatibility testing of both the Windows and Classic versions of TRIPP and BLES have been completed and both systems have been proven to work successfully under the 32-bit versions of the new Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. Testing has been performed for the Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate editions. The Windows 7 Starter edition was not tested as this is designed for small notebook PCs which are not suitable for TRIPP or BLES. Previous compatibility testing has shown the system to work successfully under the 32-bit version of Microsoft Vista.

Extensive testing was performed by both the support and development teams to ensure compatibility. Testing highlighted that a few minor changes were required to the Windows interface to support very high resolution screens.

As part of the ongoing support contract all existing BLES and TRIPP for Windows users received a free upgrade to their system to provide the required changes. Any client considering adopting Windows 7 should contact Tritech directly to ensure they have the correct software and to discuss other implications of running under Microsoft Windows 7.

Support will only be provided for the 32-bit versions of the operating system as this is the only version capable of running TRIPP and BLES Classic (the command line based elements of the systems).
